FARAFINA "parallel"

Since 1994, Afrika Haus Berlin, the Farafina e.V. association, and the Tiergarten district office have organized the German-African festival "Farafina in Tiergarten," initially at the Galerie Nord and the Teahouse in the English Garden. The "Farafina in Mitte" series continued this tradition and, in 2002, crossed the district border for the first time with the Farafina exhibition, which ran concurrently at the corridor23 gallery in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg cultural center.
Exhibited at the corridor23 gallery were works by Bethel Aniaku (Togo), Mansour Ciss "Kanakassy" (Senegal), Stefanie Eins (South Africa), Luis Meque (Zimbabwe), and Helga Ntephe (Germany).
